Core Mat for Infusion And RTM Processing

High-performance flow media + lightweight core in one material, designed for vacuum infusion and RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) processes.
In composite manufacturing, achieving fast, stable resin flow while reducing weight and cost is critical. Traditional solutions often require separate flow media, core materials, and multiple auxiliary layers.
Our Core Mat for Infusion & RTM is developed as a cost-effective alternative to Lantor Composites Soric® series, offering comparable processing performance for complex composite structures.

What is Core Mat for Infusion & RTM?

Core mat is a type of core material suitable for composite parts with complex shapes and strict thickness control requirements.

It is composed of polyester non-woven fibers mixed with micro-foam particles, embossed with regular hexagonal honeycomb textures on the surface. It is specially designed for vacuum infusion and RTM closed-mold processes.

Currently, the most well-known product on the market is the Soric series from Lantor.

Our Core Mat for Infusion & RTM is developed as a cost-effective alternative to Lantor Composites Soric® series, offering comparable processing performance for complex composite structures.

FAQ:

Q1: Is your core mat a direct replacement for Soric®?

Yes. It is designed as a functional alternative to Soric® flow core system, with similar structure and processing behavior in infusion and RTM applications.

Q2: Can it replace flow mesh and infusion media?

For numerous applications, this may cut down or completely remove the requirement for independent flow media, subject to the geometry of components.

Q3: What processes is it suitable for?

It is suitable for:

· Vacuum Infusion (VARTM)

· RTM / RTM Light

· Resin infusion molding

· Sandwich panel manufacturing

Q4: Can it be used in marine or wind blade production?

Yes. It is widely used in marine panels, yacht structures, and wind energy composite parts.

Q5: Could you offer test samples?

Yes, we provide free samples and technical evaluation support for substitution projects.

Q6: What are your main advantages over imported Lantor Soric®?

· Faster delivery

· Lower cost

· Flexible customization
