MFE 711 VINYL ESTER RESIN

MFE 711 is based on bisphenol-A epoxy resin, provides resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, bleaches and solvents used in many chemical processing industry applications.

Properties & Benefits

Applications and Fabrication Techniques

•FRP storage tanks, vessels, ducts, and on-site maintenance projects, particularly in chemical processing and pulp and paper operations.
•The resin is designed for ease of fabrication using hand lay-up, spray-up, filament winding, compression molding and resin transfer molding techniques, pultrusion and molded grating applications.
•When properly formulated and cured, complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.2420, covering materials intended for repeated use in contact with food.

MFE 790 VINYL ESTER RESIN

MFE 700 range, the 2 nd generation of MFE, it set to raise the standard even higher. They all based on a technology that delivers high temperature resistance, good wet ability and process ability, standard catalyst system.
MFE 790 is PU modified epoxy vinyl ester resin which own the mechanical properties of vinyl ester resin and meanwhile provide higher toughness and elongation.

• Resistance to most acid, salt, alkali and solvents
•The flexibility, tensile properties and impact strength have been greatly improved by big molecular design and the impact strength has been increased by 40%compared with standard flexible epoxy vinyl ester resin.
• Tensile elongation at break is 12%
• Good processability and abrasion resistance
•Excellent dynamic load resistance, good impact resistance  under  cyclic  temperature,  pressure fluctuation and mechanical impact conditions, and high strength retention rate.

Properties & Benefits
• Even high temperature resistance version of MFE 780, MFE 780HT epoxy vinyl ester resin is an epoxy novolac-based resin designed to provide exceptional thermal and chemical resistance properties at higher temperatures. It offers a high resistance to solvents and chemicals, good retention of strength and toughness at elevated temperatures, and excellent
resistance to acidic oxidizing environments.
• FRP equipment produced using MFE 780HT retains strength and toughness at elevated temperatures.

This resin contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled. Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and necessary protective equipment and clothing should be worn.
The specification is 2016 edition and may change with the technological improvement.

Our Material Safety Data Sheets should be read and understood by all of your supervisory personnel and employees before using MFE vinyl ester resin in your facilities.

Standard package:
Non-returnable steel drums, net weight is 200kg per drum

Recommended Storage:
Drums - Store at temperatures below 25ºC. Storage life decreases with increasing storage temperature. Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. To avoid
contamination of product with water, do not store outdoors.
Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss.
