What is Structural PET Foam?

Introduction of PET Foam Core
The JLON series PET foam core is a high-performance closed-cell thermoplastic structural foam tailored for sandwich structure applications. It integrates lightweight, high rigidity, excellent processability and environmental friendliness, serving as an ideal core material for various industrial composite structures.
Compared with traditional core materials such as PVC, this PET foam features lower structural weight, higher structural strength and stiffness, and superior sustainability. Fully recyclable, it is an eco-friendly alternative for modern composite manufacturing.
With a temperature resistance of 140–150°C, it maintains stable deformation resistance during high-temperature processing. It is highly compatible with unsaturated resin, epoxy resin and other mainstream resin systems, and adapts to hand lay-up, vacuum infusion and other common molding processes for flexible and reliable production.
Additionally, the JLON series boasts outstanding long-term fatigue resistance, capable of enduring sustained dynamic loads, which makes it perfect for components under dynamic working conditions. Multiple density specifications are available to meet customized application and performance requirements across diverse industries.
