Fiberglass tissue, a lightweight and high-performance nonwoven material, has become a cornerstone in numerous industrial and consumer applications. Made from ultra-fine glass fibers, this engineered material combines exceptional strength, thermal resistance, and adaptability.
Fiberglass tissue starts with silica sand, the primary raw material, which is melted at high temperatures (1400℃) to form molten glass. This molten glass is then extruded through platinum-rhodium bushings to produce ultrafine glass filaments, typically 3–13 microns in diameter. To bind these filaments into a cohesive web, a thermosetting resin (e.g., acrylic, epoxy, or phenolic) is applied during production.
Excellent fiber distribution
Very smooth surface
Excellent flexibility
Good tensile and tear resistance
Good dimensional stability
The fiberglass tissue is mainly used as substrates for the carpet and floor. The fiberglass mat tissue made from this substrate is an ideal decorative material for flooring decoration and carpet decoration in domestic residences on account of their characteristics such as toughness appearance, non-shrinkage and non-deformation.
Our max width for fiberglass non-woven carpet tissue and fiberglass floor tissue is 4.12M width. JLON non woven fiberglass flooring mat tissue and fiberglass in carpet is widely confirmed by clients.

Color polyester tissue is produced by equipment and technology introduced from Germany. It has more than 200 patterns of wood grain, marble, camouflage, mesh pattern, flower and various single color (red, black, yellow, green, blue, etc.), and can also be customized according to customers' needs. . The color polyester tissue is directly used in the FRP process, and it is easy to obtain a colorful and highly personalized surface effect.
With polyester tissue, the absorption of resin is more sufficient, and a resin-rich layer is formed on the surface of the FRP to make the surface smooth and beautiful. The use of polyester tissue in the FRP process can significantly improve the appearance of the product, improve impact and wear resistance, improve corrosion resistance and weather resistance, and make FRP products suitable for more demanding environments.

As surface layer of high performance sound proofing glass wool insulation product.
Silica sand, limestone, and soda ash are melted in a furnace. The molten glass is drawn into continuous filaments via bushings.
Fibers are randomly dispersed using air or water streams to create a uniform, nonwoven mat.
A resin binder is sprayed onto the web to stabilize the structure.
The mat passes through an oven (150–250°C) to cure the binder, solidifying the tissue.
The tissue is cooled, trimmed, and rolled into sheets or rolls for distribution.
The global fiberglass tissue market is driven by demand in construction, automotive, and aerospace industries, valued for its lightweight, corrosion resistance, and thermal insulation properties. Key growth factors include urbanization, infrastructure development, and the shift toward energy-efficient materials. In construction, it is widely used in roofing, insulation, and wall reinforcement, particularly in green building initiatives. The automotive sector leverages fiberglass tissue for lightweight composites to enhance fuel efficiency and meet emission regulations.
Asia-Pacific dominates the market due to rapid industrialization, particularly in China and India, where construction and automotive manufacturing are expanding. North America and Europe follow, driven by renovation projects and high-performance material requirements in aerospace.
Challenges include fluctuating raw material costs (e.g., silica, resins) and competition from alternatives like carbon fiber. However, innovations in recyclable and high-strength fiberglass tissues offer growth opportunities. Environmental regulations promoting sustainable materials further propel R&D investments.
The market is moderately consolidated, with key players like Owens Corning, Saint-Gobain, and Johns Manville focusing on product diversification and strategic partnerships. Post-pandemic recovery has boosted demand, though supply chain disruptions remain a concern.
Overall, the fiberglass tissue market is projected to grow steadily at a CAGR of ~5-6% through 2030, supported by technological advancements and cross-industry applications, despite cost and substitution pressures.
