Introduction of Carbon Fiber Fabric


Carbon fiber fabric has been described as the pinnacle of comprehensive material performance in the world today, the black revolution of the 21st century, and a new material developed to meet the needs of the development of cutting-edge industries such as astronautics, aviation and atomic energy.

With high tensile strength, high tensile modulus, low density, high temperature resistance, ablation resistance, corrosion resistance, high electrical and thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, self-lubricating and biocompatibility and other peculiar properties.

According to the texture of carbon fiber fabric, it can be mainly divided into unidirectional carbon fiber fabric, plain weave, twill weave,and multiaxial carbon fiber fabric.

A. Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Fabric

Unidirectional woven carbon fiber fabric is produced by laying carbon fiber in warp direction and using hot melt yarn in weft direction to keep fabric stable.


Application of Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Fabric


Strengthening concrete structure, brickwork and bridges.

Common width:100/200/300mm/500mm


Unidirectional  carbon fiber fabric  is impregnated with epoxy resin to form a carbon fibre reinforced composite sheet (CFRP for short).

The sheet will be specially formulated epoxy resin paste in the structure of the tensile surface, resin curing and the original structure to form a new force composite, carbon fibre sheet can be common with the reinforcement force. Its share of the load, it reduces the stress of the steel bar, and the structure is reinforced.

The unidirectional  carbon fiber fabric used for reinforcement can be divided into grade Ⅰand grade Ⅱ according to tensile strength.

The strength of gradeⅠcan reach 3400MPa, and the strength of the grade Ⅱ can reach 2900MPa.

B.Plain and Twill  Weave Carbon Fiber Fabrics

Plain and twill weave carbon fabric is light weight, high strength and high modulus. It has good resistance to fatigue, heat and corrosion.
