Carbon fibre is divided into polyacrylonitrile (PAN)-based, asphalt-based and viscose-based according to the type of the original filament, according to the specifications of the tow can be divided into 24K below the aerospace-grade small tow of carbon fibre (1K meaning a carbon fibre tow containing 1000 monofilaments) and 48K above the industrial-grade large tow of carbon fibre, according to the form of the filaments can be divided into filaments, staple fibres and short-cutting fibres, according to the mechanical properties of the general-purpose type and high-performance type. Properties of Carbon Fibre

Carbon Fibre Industry Export Analysis

From January to December 2022, China exported a total of 1,707.64 tonnes of Carbon Fibre, 754.34 tonnes of Carbon Fibre Fabrics, 826.01 tonnes of Carbon Fibre Prepregs, 3,177.73 tonnes of other Carbon Fibre Products, and 6,465.71 tonnes of Carbon Fibre Products in total.

In recent years, China's carbon fibre demand has been maintaining a steady upward trend, enterprises and investment institutions have also been optimistic about the development prospects of the carbon fibre industry, a large influx of capital from all walks of life, for the carbon fibre industry to bring a stimulating effect. At the same time, the carbon fibre industry has a wide range of applications, benefiting from the development of downstream wind turbine blades, aviation industry, automotive manufacturing and other markets, the demand for carbon fibre is expected to rise rapidly. At present, China's carbon fibre industry is in a period of explosive growth, the future demand for carbon fibre market growth rate to remain at about 17%, with the carbon fibre with many capital into the carbon fibre industry, carbon fibre technology continues to breakthroughs, the demand field will be further expanded.
