Unsaturated polyester resin has excellent weathering, chemical resistance, water resistance and insulation properties. It also has good processability and cost-effectiveness. Unsaturated polyester resins are not as hard and abrasion resistant as epoxy resins and are susceptible to certain chemical environments.
